This Friday @ 12pm Eastern, FIFA is doing the official draw - that’s when we find out which countries are playing each other.

But the real date to circle is:

Saturday, December 6th @ 12pm Eastern

That’s when FIFA releases the full match schedule: who plays where, and on what dates.

Once that schedule goes live, GAME ON. :)

Here’s why:

Depending on which teams your city gets, you’ll get an early read on how big the demand spike could be.

• If your city lands countries like Argentina, Brazil, Germany, England, France, or Spain, expect serious interest... far beyond the number of match tickets sold. These fans travel deep, pack fan zones, and create major compression in the accommodation market.

• If your city hosts smaller countries like Cape Verde, New Zealand, Haiti, etc., you’ll still see demand, but not on the same level.

On top of that, over 2 million tickets are already sold, and a big wave of people will start booking the moment the match schedule becomes public.

Here’s what I’d do this weekend if I were you:

Your Weekend Checklist

• Watch the schedule release on Saturday @ 12pm Eastern.

• Keep a very close eye on your reservations - early bookings are gold as demand signals.

• Pay attention to what guests are willing to pay on key match dates.

• If your units are near (not just in) a host city, prepare for spill-over demand from people extending their trips to explore nearby areas.

This is a rare chance to get in front of the market instead of reacting late.
